Marvel & Disney announces John Carter: World of Mars, a comic prequel the John Carter Movie
Marvel & Disney Publishing Worldwide Announce announces John Carter: World of Mars, a comic prequel that leads up to the movie, according to ComingSoon.net says The prequel, entitled "John Carter: Worlds of Mars" will run as a four-issue miniseries by Peter David and Luke Ross. Launching this October, it will feature the diverse characters of Burroughs' worlds in adventures that set the stage for the film version, going back as far as fifty years before the events of John Carter.

The 2012 upcoming movie John Carter (also know as John Carter of Mars) is the sci-fi action adventure movie based on a character from a classic science fiction novel "A Princess of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The movie is directed by Andrew Stanton also marks the first time direct on a live-action movie. He is known the one of best animation director from famous animated movie Finding Nemo and WALL-E.
